Researchers at McGill University (Montreal, QC) are seeking participants for the diabEAT study. This study aims to determine if insulin delivery technologies influence eating behaviors in people living with type 1 diabetes.
Inclusion Criteria
- Have lived with type 1 diabetes for over a year
- Reside in Canada
- Be aged 12 years or older
- Use at least 2 insulin injections per day or an insulin pump
- Have used your current insulin delivery method for at least 3 months
Your Participation
Your involvement in this research will help us understand the relationship between insulin delivery technologies and eating behaviors. You will receive a $60 compensation for completing all data collections.
How to Participate

- First, read the consent form.
- Answer a few questions to determine your eligibility.
- Complete a 30-minute questionnaire and receive more information about the second part of the study, during which you will:
- Fill out a food diary for 4 days
- Track your physical activity using an accelerometer for 8 days
- Monitor your glucose levels using a continuous glucose monitor for 14 days
